“Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristowe is freezing her eggs, so pop some champagne and toast to reproductive freedom

There are tons of things on our to-do lists, but we have to admit that freezing our eggs isn’t at the top. After seeing Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe start the process of freezing her eggs, though, we’re giving it some serious thought.

Last week, Bristowe replied to a fan on Twitter who had seen a picture of the season 11 Bachelorette star at Ova Fertility Clinic, where her BFF and fellow Bachelor contestant Whitney Bischoff works. The fan thought that she was possibly pregnant, but that is clearly not the case.

Bristowe wrote, “Noooo I’m freezing my eggs. And giving them to whitney and Ova to babysit.” When asked why (people are so nosy) she wasn’t shy about it at all. She said, “I’m taking control of my future! As a woman there’s always pressure to have babies, and this puts my mind at ease for when IM ready.”
