Prepare to meet the babysitter from hell in this Netflix film

Many of us have probably had experiences with babysitters that go a little something like this: Your parents or guardians head out for the night, so you and the babysitter watch a movie or play a board game. You head to bed on the earlier side, because of that whole being a kid thing. When you wake up, the babysitter is gone and your parents or guardians are back, and you are safe and sound.

So your babysitter and his/her cool-kid friends definitely weren’t trying to kill you…

But that’s exactly what happens to Cole (Judah Lewis) in the first trailer for The Babysitter, an upcoming Netflix horror-comedy that “follows a lonely, 12-year-old boy who falls in love with his hot babysitter only to discover that she’s part of a satanic cult that wants to kill him,” according to the streaming site.

Because, hello, she needs the blood of the innocent.

The babysitter from hell, Bee, is played by Samara Weaving.

Her cohorts include characters played by Bella Thorne, Robbie Amell, and Hana Mae Lee. Nothing like a bunch of awesome, beautiful people trying to kill you, right Cole? Boy, are we thankful for all our “boring” babysitter days.

The film is directed by McG, who’s worked on some of our absolute favorites in various capacities: The O.C., the Charlie’s Angels films, and Chuck. And Brian Duffield (Insurgent, Jane Got a Gun) wrote the script.

The Babysitter lands on Netflix on October 13th, which just so happens to be FRIDAY THE 13TH, NOT SPOOKY AT ALL, HAHAHAHAHA.

Watch it, if you dare…
