Baby Tasmanian devils playing in a winter wonderland is the cutest holiday moment ever

Have you ever seen a group of baby Tasmanian devils enjoying winter weather? Up until now, we had no idea how much these unexpectedly adorable baby animals just lurve to frolic in the snow and toy around with holiday ornaments. A brief Storyful clip shows the energetic young marsupials having the time of their lives when staff at Australia’s Reptile Park transformed their play area into a winter wonderland when a particularly steamy heat wave made its way into Sydney.

(If you’ll recall, this is the same park that is home to George, the unbelievably adorable baby wombat that thinks he’s a dog and behaves with just as much enthusiasm as his little devilish park companions.)

Seriously, get a load of these guys:

GAH! These rambunctious little animals are so into the holiday spirit that we *almost* want to get in and snuggle up to them as if they’re dogs. But um, given what we know about typical animal behavior (read: they’re cute but they’re still creatures of the wild), we think it’s probably best to keep observing from a safe, electronic distance.

Seriously, though! They didn’t ask to be given a name that’s associated with pure evil, but they kind of earned it, TBH. Tasmanian devils hold the title of the world’s largest carnivorous marsupials (yikes) and supposedly, their milk is strong enough to kill antibiotic-resistant bugs. Oh, and don’t even get us started on their insanely strong bite force, which is nothing we want to play around with.

Yep, we’ll just keep admiring this adorable video from afar and breathing a sigh of relief that our flawless holiday manicures won’t be ruined by a mangled finger.
