Someone dressed up their baby as Groot from “Guardians of the Galaxy” and it’s TOO cute
We’re huge fans of cosplay, and we’re even bigger fans of when people get their kids (especially babies) involved in their cosplay outfits. We probably spent days looking at pictures of this adorable Harry Potter inspired photoshoot.
Not wanting to be outdone, however, one family has taken things further with an EPIC cosplay outfit.
At this year’s Comic Con in Boston, one family dressed their 5 month old baby as Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy and it’s ADORABLE.
O-M-G!
The baby’s name is Charlie Lockwood from Sommerville, Massachusetts, and he even got the attention of Guardians of the Galaxy director, James Gunn.
Writing on Imgur, Charlie’s mother, Tracie Lockwood, said that while Charlie might be very Groot like, he actually can’t stand by himself so they had to support him in the flower pot.
One of the best things about dressing your baby up as Groot has got to be that you can do THIS with them.
Seriously, how cute is baby Groot?
Of course, Groot, played by Vin Diesell, doesn’t stay a baby in Guardians of the Galaxy and does in fact become quite large.
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 is set for release May 5 2017
