If you need more “Baby Driver” tunes, Lily James and Eiza Gonzalez have curated some pretty perfect playlists

The high-speed, wonderfully funky Baby Driver tells the story of a getaway driver, Baby (Ansel Elgort), who is forced to participate in a job that seems destined to go wrong. Music plays a big role throughout the film as Baby constantly listens to tunes to mask his hearing impairment  — and groovy tunes at that. (Remember that funky version of The Champs’ “Tequila” that played in this trailer?)

But, Baby isn’t the only one with sick beats.

Lily James, who plays Baby’s love interest Debora, and Eiza Gonzalez, who plays his criminal associate Darling, have curated Spotify playlists of songs they’re currently listening to.

James’ selections range from “Lewis Takes Off His Shirt” by Owen Pallett to “Passionfruit” by Drake, “Son Of A Preacher Man” by Dusty Springfield to “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” by Whitney Houston.

Gonzalez’s picks, meanwhile, include: “Darling Nikki” by Prince, “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King, “Over The Hills And Far Away” by Led Zeppelin, and “My Dearest Darling” by Etta James. We’re going to go ahead and assume those “darling” songs are nods to her character — and, by the way, there’s plenty more where those came from.

Our review: James and Gonzalez’s picks are DYNAMITE.

So what are you waiting for?! Kick your weekend off right, and give them a listen. And Edgar Wright, maybe consider adding the pair of them to the music team if that Baby Driver sequel gets the green light? K, thanks!
