This baby and French bulldog are besties. Because love.

Everyone knows that dogs are man’s best friend. Well, Farley the French bulldog is taking that job super seriously. Like, workaholic seriously. His bestie is a baby named Dilan. Dilan and Farley were even born on the exact same day (May 26, 2014)! So they’re really more like twinsies than besties.

Dilan’s mom, Ivette Ivens, is a professional photographer who takes gorgeous photos of infants and breastfeeding mothers. (Seriously, her work is beyond. Check her out here.) When looking for a dog to bring into the family, she saw the matching birthdays as a sign and decided to adopt Farley. When it became clear that Dilan and Farley were developing a special bond, of course she began capturing all the cuteness on camera. Soon her Instagram was filling up with images like this one:

Yes, you guys. That actually happened. But wait. It gets even more adorable because sometimes Dilan and Farley HOLD HANDS while they nap.

Ivette told the Daily Mail, “Farley patiently plays with him and tries not to snore while they both nap. It’s honestly the most loving connection — pure, unconditional, irreplaceable and inseparable.” Awwww. We’re melting! It sounds like a match made in heaven. I mean, everyone knows that willing yourself not to snore takes some serious commitment. That’s love right there, folks.

Speaking of love, there aren’t enough kissy face emojis in the world to express how precious it is when Farley shows Dilan a little puppy affection . . .

Dilan and Farley play together, bathe together, eat together . . . and even potty train together. Because that’s what besties do. (Those mustaches on their diapers, though. Such cuteness.)

Mom Ivette told the Huffington Post that as, “Dilan grows bigger and understands more, he truly appreciates Farley’s company and the love is just blossoming.” Yep, it looks like these two are BFFs for life. Honest.

We’re bookmarking this spooning pic of Dilan and Farley to warm our souls whenever we’re having a bad day.

Can our hearts possibly hold anymore love for these two?
