Azriel Clary has left “boyfriend” R. Kelly and is sharing happy photos of reuniting with her family

R. Kelly is slowly, but surely, losing his grip on the women in his life. His former “girlfriend” Azriel Clary has officially broken off her relationship with the alleged rapist and kidnapper. Now, she’s finally back with the family she hadn’t seen in years. To celebrate her freedom, Clary posted a series of photos to her Instagram, and the happiness is radiating from her and her loved ones.

"Surprise," she wrote in the caption of her January 13th post. "Let the healing process begin. Love yall and thank y’all. I even thank everyone who follows me..because you all believed in me when I could not believe for myself."

Clary tagged the post #movingontobetterdays. We don’t know about you, but we just breathed a sigh of relief.

This joyous news comes a month after it was reported she finally moved out of Kelly’s Trump Tower Condo, in which she lived with Kelly’s other “girlfriend” Joycelyn Savage while Kelly faces sexual assault and abuse charges across several states.

In December, it appeared as though Savage was also making moves to break ties with Kelly after she appeared to post her abuse story on Patreon. However, she later said that she had been impersonated and that the story was untrue. At the time, both she and Clary remained on the defensive, arguing that R. Kelly was innocent on all charges. The two even sat down with Gayle King for CBS News to defend Kelly in 2019.

Clary’s and Savage’s respective families spoke out in both Surviving R. Kelly and Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning about how their daughters’ relationships with Kelly cut them off from the rest of the world. Now, we are so glad Clary’s bravery brought her back to her loved ones. We hope that Savage has the support and feels safe enough to follow suit.
