We hope these awesome rumors about the new iPhone are true
Sometimes it fees like the moment you get an iPhone, Apple is already coming out with a new one. But that’s okay, because when it comes to 6S, the next installment in Apple’s series of smartphones, there might be a lot of awesome changes. Things are still pretty up in the air, but rumors have been circulating and we’re crossing our fingers that they’re true.
A big one is this thing called Force Touch, which is already a feature for Apple Watch, but will likely be the next upgrade for everyone’s favorite iPhone. Force Touch is essentially a tool that prompts different commands based on how hard you press the screen. A light tap would mean something different that holding your thumb down on the screen, and so on.
Oh and no more frantically running into Starbucks to charge your phone, these updated bad boys are allegedly coming with new and improved battery life, as well as faster downloading speeds and LTE. AKA they’re going to be the most perfect things in the entire world, or at least the entire smartphone world.
But there’s more. Not only is it likely that this new model will be sturdier, with a tougher “shell” to prevent bending, it’s also going to come with the iPhone’s best quality camera yet — and that’s saying something. The iPhone 6S (or maybe iPhone 7, it’s not clear yet which name they’re going with) will be equipped with a 12-megapixel camera, essentially the same quality as your digital camera, but tucked inside your phone so you can snap any pic on the go without worrying about blurriness or pixelation.
Only time will tell if all of these updates are true, but if everything is confirmed, I think we all know what we’re doing with our old models:
