All of the best dressed stars at the 2019 Emmy Awards, in our humble opinion
Remember Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw-esque tutu dress? Or Tessa Thompson‘s metallic rainbow dream look? What about Jennifer Aniston slaying every red carpet in the ’90s, alongside her then-husband Brad Pitt? The best dressed celebs at the Emmys have always come to play, and tonight’s September 22nd awards show is no different.
We’re already buzzing about the 2019 Emmys. Game of Thrones has about a gagillion nominations (32, to be exact), which means we get to see stars like Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke, and Gwendoline Christie—who channeled Brienne of Tarth and submitted her own damn self for that award—rock the red carpet. Billy Porter is making history as the first openly gay Black man nominated for lead actor (we can always count on him for a bold fashion moment). And with Killing Eve up for awards, we’re crossing our fingers for a little Villanelle style from Jodie Comer.
It’s all happening right now. We are picking our best dressed stars on the 2019 Emmys red carpet. Bookmark this page, as we’re continually updating as more celebs arrive.
Hot Mama of Dragons is all we can say.
Somehow Mandy made so many throwbacks (’80s sleeves and old Hollywood glamour) feel so modern.
It’s Saturday Night Fever à la 2019 Emmys.
Bell’s pulling off rainbow and glitter and fringe in her Dior dress, but it doesn’t feel over-the-top.
Sandra Oh is oh so pretty in pink Zac Posen.
Zendaya is an emerald green dream in this corseted, high-slit dress.
Michelle Williams served us sequins, ethereal print, and slim-fitting silhouette all at once.
Shine bright like Julia Louis-Dreyfus in this second-skin gold sequin gown.
This winged jumpsuit + watercolor clutch combo will be our new fancy shindig go-to.
