Avril Lavigne Spotted Kissing Tyga Right After Breaking Up with Her Fiancé
In a juicy twist, they were seen kissing in the same city Lavigne's fiancé proposed in exactly a year ago.
Things are heating up between Avril Lavigne and Tyga. Last week the pair sparked romance rumors when they arrived together at Leonardo DiCaprio’s party in Paris. Their City of Love renaissance has since taken over Paris Fashion Week.
On Monday, Lavigne and Tyga were photographed packing on the PDA at the Mugler X Hunter Schafer party.
In photos obtained by Page Six, the “Sk8er Boi” singer is seen making out with her rumored beau outside the event. Several photos show Tyga with his arm protectively slung over his alleged girlfriend’s shoulders.
Hours earlier, the two were spotted giggling and whispering in one another’s ears while sitting front row at the Ottolinger show.
“Tyga and Avril are getting to know each other,” a source told People of their rumored fling. “It’s very new. It’s very casual.”

The pair’s budding romance comes on the heels of Lavigne’s very public split from Mod Sun, who ironically proposed to the punk rock star in Paris this time last year. The timing of their breakup coupled with the recent press surrounding Lavigne’s new arm candy has left a sour taste among many fans.
When news of their split broke, a rep for Mod Sun told People, “They were together and engaged as of three days ago when Mod left for tour so if anything has changed that’s news to him.” To say Mod Sun was caught off guard would be an understatement.
“In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken 💔,” he wrote on Instagram amid the aftermath of their breakup.
While a source told People “no third party [was] involved in the split,” many are wondering when exactly Tyga came into the picture.
