Avocado art is the latest Instagram trend that’ll soon be all over your feed
While to us, all food is art, there’s also a movement to create actual works of art from food. That’s the idea behind the hot new trend flooding our Instagram feeds: avocado art.
Now, it’s safe to say that people are pretty obsessed with avocados. Whether we’re having our minds blown by the correct way to slice one, making plans to visit visit an avocado restaurant, or rolling our eyes at the millionaire who thinks Milllennials can’t buy houses because we’re blowing all our money on avocado toast, we always have a place in our hearts for this delicious, green fruit. In fact, science even says you should have an avocado a day.
So it was only a matter of time before someone decided to elevate the humble avocado into something altogether more stunning.
Of course we’ve seen some beautiful presentations of avocado toast before, but we’re not sure we’ve ever seen something so beautiful made from something so plain.

Indeed, the tag #avocadoart unearths some visual delights that (almost) look too good to eat.
If we’re being honest, we’re not sure we’d have the patience or the restraint to avoid just scooping the whole thing up and eating it all, but we do love seeing how people express themselves creatively. We’re 100% obsessed, and can’t wait to see more and more avo-art!
