This Avengers/Wizard of Oz mashup parody is the stuff of movie nerd dreams

Sometimes the internet gives us a movie mashup that is so weirdly wonderful we all of a sudden want that minute-long mashup to be a ninety-minute movie we can actually go see in theaters. Case in point, Australian visual effects artist Darren Wallace just gave us Avengers of Oz: Age of Tinman, in which we see the Scarecrow recast as Captain America, the Cowardly Lion steps into the role of Thor, Scarlet Witch changes out colors to play the Wicked Witch of the West, and, of course, the Tinman is Ultron, himself.

Wallace’s visual effects game is ON POINT, the video is silly as heck, but it looks GOOD. So good, in fact, that we kind of want Age of Tinman to be an IRL movie. We don’t know about you guys, but we’d plunk down extra for 3D glasses for sure.
