The Ava DuVernay Barbie is here and we couldn’t be happier

Kids this Christmas season are about to get something amazing under their trees, because Mattel is releasing an Ava DuVernay Barbie. The filmmaker announced the news on her Twitter on Sunday, and today the doll is officially available in stores.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen DuVernay in Barbie form. Back in April, Mattel produced a one-of-a-kind collection of dolls based on six women from Variety‘s Power of Women Luncheon, including women like DuVernay, Kristin Chenoweth, and Eva Chen.

But the world wanted more. The Selma director and all-around trailblazer explained it all over on Twitter:

She also Tweeted out a picture of the model, so we know exactly what to grab when we go running to the stores, explaining that all proceeds from the Barbie will go straight to charities Color of Change and WITNESS:

The exact location and price of the Barbie still haven’t been announced by Mattel, but when it comes Barbies of inspiring women, just take my money.
