Aunt Becky and Danny Tanner just met John Stamos’s new baby, and yes, there are pics
Full House has come full circle. John Stamos posted a photo to his Instagram on May 10th that captured a introduction of epic proportions. Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin) and Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) met Uncle Jesse’s (Stamos’s) new baby for the first time, proving that the Tanners and the Katsopolises are as tight a family offscreen as they are on.
Stamos and wife Caitlin McHugh announced baby Billy’s arrival to the world via Instagram on April 16th. Billy is named after Stamos’s late father, who passed in 1998. Stamos recently shared an archival video from Extra in which his mother Loretta, who passed in 2014, expressed her desire for Stamos to have a son first and name him after his father. And Loretta got her wish.
After two years of dating, Stamos and McHugh tied the knot in February 2018. Although he had been a part of our favorite TV family for so long, Stamos has stated in interviews that he always wanted an offscreen family of his own, too. At 54, it finally happened for our Uncle Jesse — who’s #NotJustAnUncleAnymore.
(And yes, Billy is sporting a Jesse and the Rippers onesie. We’re not crying, you are!)
The old saying, “it takes a village to raise a child” will have to be tweaked for Billy’s situation. In this case, it takes a Full House to raise a child, and Uncle Bob is ready for it.
"So much love John," Saget captioned a repost of Stamos's photo. "Most beautiful boy and Mommy & Daddy ever. So proud to be a new Uncle/Tin Man, my brother."
Okay, we’re 100% crying.
