You know that thing when you show up to a movie premiere and you’re literally dressed exactly like your twin? Okay maybe not, but now Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen know the feeling.
Plaza and Olsen attended the premiere of their new movie Ingrid Goes West wearing the same damn thing.
Coincidence? Maybe. Inside joke amongst co-stars? Probably.
The synopsis of the film is this:
“Ingrid Thorburn (Aubrey Plaza) is an unhinged social media stalker with a history of confusing ‘likes’ for meaningful relationships. Taylor Sloane (Elizabeth Olsen) is an Instagram-famous ‘influencer’ whose perfectly curated, boho-chic lifestyle becomes Ingrid’s latest obsession. When Ingrid moves to LA and manages to insinuate herself into the social media star’s life, their relationship quickly goes from #BFF to #WTF.”
In the movie, Plaza’s chaaracter is so obsessed with Olsen’s character that she dresses like her, dyes her hair blonde, and basically tries to steal her life. Plaza is so obsessed that she can’t get out of character ?. Tbh, how many of us have lusted after the perfectly manicured ‘grams of Insta-influencers? Who wouldn’t want a life that is exclusively lattes and millennial pink everything?
We actually love their twinning looks, reminds us of the ? emoji.
However, we’re lol’ing at the fact that Olsen changed into a new look for the afterparty.
