Aubrey Plaza did something pretty crazy for her “Dirty Grandpa” audition
Leave it to Aubrey Plaza to have one of the most memorable auditions of all time. The Parks and Recreation star has had the Internet buzzing about her upcoming role in Dirty Grandpa, in which she plays opposite Robert De Niro as his sexually crazed love interest. No one could ham up this part better than Aubrey, and she made that clear to the producers when she showed up for her audition.
She explained the whole story to Seth Meyers, who found out that the part she landed wasn’t originally the part they offered her. At first, she was up for the part of Zac Efron’s love interest, but when she read the script, she thought to herself, “If I’m going to be in this movie I’m going to play the girl that has sex with Robert De Niro, because that’s what I want to do.”
So she decided to do something crazy. She went straight from the set of Parks and Rec to her audition, and once the camera started rolling, she threw the script aside and starting saying a stream of profanities. Then, to top it off, she flashed everyone in the room. Like, fully pulled down her pants.
