Astronaut Scott Kelly hosted a Super Bowl party in space
Hosting the perfect Super Bowl party is almost as important as the game itself, but I’m pretty sure astronaut Scott Kelly had all of ours beat. He threw his Super Bowl celebration in the International Space Station, where he’s currently completing his #YearInSpace. Despite being 249 miles above Earth, he probably had the best view out of all of us, so he kept us updated on Twitter.
Unfortunately, this meant it was somewhat difficult for everyone he invited to attend (although I’m sure they all checked “Interested” on the Facebook event). In fact, he was the only one who could make it, which would be kind of sad if it wasn’t, you know, so freakin’ cool.
We can’t tell if space nachos sound delicious or horrifying, but you can definitely add “Super Bowl in space” to our bucket lists.
