Ashton and Mila might have just posted a pic of their baby girl—for an awesome reason

Since their daughter Wyatt Isabelle was born in October 2014, parents Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have been keeping their baby girl out of the spotlight. In addition to their secret wedding and engagement, this couple has made it known that they want to keep their private life, well… private. (And who can blame them?) However, it seems that Mila and Ashton recently had a change of heart – for an absolutely amazing cause that’s helping to educate others.

Two days ago, Kutcher posted a snapshot on his Instagram. The photo features an adorable little girl (who may or may not be his daughter, according to many sources) who’s pointing at something in the sky. In the scenic background, there are mountains, trees, and a breathtakingly blue body of water. As for the most important part, it’s this: there’s bright red sand resting in the pavement’s cracks. What does it mean? Kutcher explains in his Instagram caption.

Kutcher writes, “39 million people have fallen through the cracks into modern day slavery. #redsandproject.”

The Red Sand Project is an activist artwork exhibit that’s working to spread awareness, to shed light on human trafficking. Thanks to Kutcher’s post, we’ve learned that anyone can participate in the Red Sand Project (for free!).   Creator Molly Gochman writes, “Overlooked populations – refugees, immigrants, girls, and others – are most at risk of being enslaved, spending their lives being exploited for the profit of others. To recognize those who are overlooked, Red Sand Project’s sidewalk interventions invite you to take the time to find and fill a sidewalk crack with red sand and to then document your sidewalk transformation on social media using #RedSandProject.”

If the little girl in Kutcher’s photo is in fact his daughter, we think this is a wonderful way to introduce her to the world! (Also – it’s a clever tactic to get people to pay attention to an incredibly important, meaningful project.)

Hopefully, this won’t be the last time young Kutcher (maybe!) works to make our planet a better place.
