Time to rejoice! ‘Arrested Development’ Season 5 is COMING

Turns out, there’s not only money in the banana stand, but more Arrested Development episodes! That’s right: Another season of Arrested Development is coming to Netflix, and we are beyond psyched. In April, executive producer Brian Grazer went on Grantland‘s “The B.S. Report” podcast and told Bill Simmons that 17 more episodes were definitely happening, but never gave an exact date. . . until now.

On Tuesday, Grazer went on “The Adam Carolla Show” and told Carolla that the 5th season will start filming next January, with a tentative release date set for summer 2016. According to Vulture, it seems like the reason why filming won’t start until next year is because “crazy scheduling was needed to get everyone involved” — but we think it’ll be well worth the wait to see the cast together again.

While Season 4 wasn’t exactly without its flaws (it got a pretty lukewarm response from Netflix users), we’re excited to be reunited with our favorite, wacky family. We’re even doing the chicken dance. (For you, Michael: #SorryNotSorry).
