Ariel Winter snaps the most adorable “sibling” selfie —and her TV brother is NOT having it

Phil and Claire Dunphy’s kids on Modern Family aren’t kids anymore (which is CRAZY, right?!). In fact, they’re pretty much full-fledged adults now.
Interestingly enough, Ariel Winter was only 10 years old when she landed the role of Alex on Modern Family and as for Nolan Gould (aka Luke), he was an adorable 9-year-old. They’ve grown up together on the show, and now at 18 and 17 years old, it’s clear they have a real-life sibling relationship.
How is it clear? Because Gould is super not into his TV sister kissing him on the cheek.
Winter posted a photo on Instagram of her and her TV brother posing together. While Winter kissed the cheek of the youngest Dunphy, as any big sister would, Gould is having none of it.

“Nolan’s sooooo over our friendship/siblingship ??,” Winter captioned the photo. But just look at his face — he’s hating/loving it, because that’s just what siblings do.
You know what else fake siblings do together? Travel to the Bahamas and pose on the beach.
Back in April, Gould shared a cute pic with his TV sis. “TV family vacation at @atlantisresort,” he wrote.
It’s weird to even bring this up, but when Gould stopped by the Allegedly podcast for a chat back in May, hosts Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss asked if he’d ever consider dating Winter.
And Gould’s response was perfect:
“No, I love her, but she’s a really good friend,” he explained. “We grew up together. It’s an interesting world for young kids, to have another person go through the exact same thing as you and be able to talk about that, I would never wanna waste that.”
Well, it seems that TV siblings who Instagram together – they stay together.
