Ariel Winter had the perfect words for paparazzi who followed her to the grocery store

Being a celebrity sounds great in theory. But Ariel Winter put celeb life into perspective when she voiced her dislike of the paparazzi in her latest Instagram. Paparazzi followed Winter and boyfriend, Levi Meaden, to the grocery store, and Winter is fed up with tabloids shamelessly searching for a story. She wrote in her caption,

"It's f-cking Ralphs! What headline are you getting with this????? Over and over! "Ariel in SLUTTY SHORTS & live in lover Levi" like ok can we just live and not be followed? Take pics on red carpets where we sign up for that not when we're just trying to grocery shop for f-cks sake."

Winter noted that she usually never posts photos from the paparazzi to her Instagram, but she felt the need to call out this absurdity.  Winter also clearly has a pretty good sense of humor, noting that she loved Meaden’s face in this particular snap. She wrote,

"Y'all I NEVER post pap pics but I just got sent this and I'm posting it because Levi's SOOO pissed and his face is SOOOO good."

It is a pretty funny picture of Meadon, we must admit. But again, we’d ALL look like this if a random stranger secretly took our photos as we were exiting a grocery store. So we feel for you Levi!

We also feel for the Modern Family star. Yes, actors sign up for fame, which entails being photographed and putting yourself out there to an extent. But ideally, that publicity should begin and end on places like the red carpet, where everyone knows they are being watched and photographed. It should not extent to personal, private, and mundane moments!

We’re giving Winter a virtual high-five for sticking up for herself. We’re unsure how or when the paparazzi will cool it with following celebs everywhere they go, but for the sake of others’ privacy, we hope they chill out sooner than later.
