Ariel Winter dyed her hair, and now she’s an actual Disney Princess

There have been many real-life renditions of the Disney Princesses, but we think Ariel Winter takes the crab cake. (Yikes, that was a stretch.) Specifically, Winter dyed her hair and now we’re certain she’s the real-life Ariel from Disney’s The Little Mermaid. They even share the same first name! It’s uncanny!

Winter was previously sporting her luscious locks of black that made her look like she was a member of the Kardashian clan. But, now the tides have shifted, and it’s time for Winter to don a pair of purple shells and take to the sea!

She revealed her new dye job on Instagram and captioned it, "Bb 🍒 meets [unicorn emoji]."

But mentally, we’re changing that unicorn to a mermaid TBH.

In her latest movie, Dog Years, where she stars alongside Burt Reynolds, Winter plays a rebellious and troubled young woman who just so happens to have long red hair. Was Winter inspired by her most recent dark and mysterious character?

Looks to us like maybe Ariel was! That color looks awfully familiar!

It seems like Winter has been playing around with the idea of switching up her hair color for quite some time. Remember her Coachella look? We almost lost it when we saw Winter with super long Nicki Minaj-inspired hot pink hair.

Our fingers were crossed in hopes that it was real. But alas, ’twas just a costume.

We really hope Winter’s new red ‘do is here to stay because she is pulling it off phenomenally. Don’t tell animated Ariel this, but we think there’s a new redhead princess in town … who also just happens to be named Ariel. It’s complicated, but it’s happening!
