Ariana Grande posted to Twitter amid breakup reports—and it’s not what we expected

If you have access to the internet, then you’ve more than likely heard that Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande have allegedly called off their engagement. TMZ broke the story on Sunday, October 14th, claiming that things outwardly seemed okay as late as the SNL live-shoot on Saturday, October 13th.

Neither Grande nor Davidson has publicly confirmed or denied the rumors as of yet, but Grande did recently post something to her Twitter account—and TBH, it’s not what we were expecting.

In the October 15th tweet, Grande wrote, "honored to be included in this celebration of 15 years of my favorite musical of all time wouldn’t miss it for the whole universe #wicked15"

She then posted a photo of what appears to be set directions for a Wicked Halloween concert.

According to POPSUGAR.com, the above is for NBC’s upcoming “A Very Wicked Halloween” special, which is slated to be a live, televised concert in celebration of the show’s 15th anniversary. The OG stars, Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, along with a number of other famous faces, are also set to make appearances.

This definitely is not the big announcement we anticipated from Grande today, but we’re glad to see she’s clearly looking towards the future and has such an exciting project on her plate. At the end of the day, we respect Grande and Davidson’s privacy, and we trust they’ll share their news (whatever it may be) when the time is right.
