Ariana Grande’s Manchester charity concert sold out in six minutes
Following the horrific attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, which left 22 people dead and more than 100 injured, a few wonderful artists have have joined hearts and voices to put on a charity concert.
And on Thursday, June 1st, the concert tickets were sold out in just six minutes after going on sale.
Which is pretty amazing, because proceeds from the event will go to the “We Love Manchester Emergency Fund,” set up by Manchester City Council and the British Red Cross to help the injured victims of the attack and the families left behind. The charity concert has been dubbed, One Love Manchester, and the twitter account for the event confirmed that around 45,000 tickets were gone just moments after they went on sale at 10 a.m UK time.
It’s reported that fans who were at the original AG concert have been offered free tickets, while the rest went on sale for $52 (£40).

After the heartbreaking May 22nd attack, Ariana canceled many of her European tour dates but expressed a desire to return to Manchester. We’re so happy that she has decided to return and give back in such a big way, and — most importantly — that those in need are being helped.

Ariana also said, “Music is something that everyone on Earth can share. Music is meant to heal us, to bring us together, to make us happy. So that is what it will continue to do for us. We will continue in honor of the ones we lost, their loved ones, my fans and all affected by this tragedy.”

One Love Manchester will bring together some of the biggest names in music, performers include: Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Take That, Niall Horan, The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Usher, and Pharrell.
The concert will take place at Emirates Old Trafford stadium in the city and is expected to raise close to $2.6 million.
