Ariana Grande and John Legend debuted a duet in the latest “Beauty and the Beast” trailer, and our emotions are in overdrive
Given the magic of Beauty and the Beast, it’s not surprising that the latest trailer included an utterly enchanting surprise! That’s right, we’re talking about Ariana Grande and John Legend’s debut duet. Oh my!
They are the perfect team to sing the theme song, “Tale as Old as Time,” and we’ve almost lost our minds already.
That’s not an exaggeration. After seeing the first look at Emma Watson as Belle, we knew we were in for so many amazing treats with this movie, and this duet sealed the deal. Ready to start feeling special things? The song starts playing about halfway through.

Apart from the fact that the movie looks genuinely incredible, isn’t that one of the best songs ever?
Let’s not forget that it was made famous by Angela Lansbury in the original film, and later by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson in the soundtrack, so Grande and Legend kinda had big shoes to fill. And they filled them! Seriously, just that snippet woke up all our emotions.

There are thousands of great songs in the world, but it’s hard to find one that makes us feel quite as much as this one.
We simply cannot wait for the new movie to be released (coming out on March 17th!), and in the meantime…we’ll be getting into the mood by listening to “Tale as Old as Time” over and over. Because it’s that good.
