Ariana Grande debuted icy blue hair, is officially Queen Frostine from Candy Land
If there’s anything we know to be true, it’s that Ariana Grande is a hair chameleon. Sure, she’s loyal when it comes to her signature ponytail, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like to change things up every now and then — especially when it comes to her hair color. Most recently, Grande has been sporting chocolate brown Rapunzel-length locks, but she just debuted her boldest color choice yet…and she’s taking a page from Kim Kardashian’s short-lived ice blue bob (not to mention, one Ms. Queen Frostine).
If Grande and Kim seem to rock similar ‘dos, it’s probably because they both spend time in the chair of hair guru Chris Appleton, who always keeps us on our toes when it comes to the heads of his famous clients. On his Instagram page, Appleton revealed Grande’s new icy blue hair, and it’s snow-queen perfection. Appleton shared several photos of Grande with her new hair color for her latest Reebok campaign, and while we don’t know how long she’ll keep the blue-gray for, we do know we are absolutely loving it on her.
First, Appleton shared a behind-the-scenes shot of Grande during her photo shoot, looking fierce, of course.
Then, he blessed us with a backstage shot of himself working his magic on the singer’s locks, revealing that he’s “obsessed” with her new look…and, same.
He then gave us two other gorgeous campaign shots.
This icy blue hair is giving us so many Candy Land vibes, and we’re not mad about it. Now, more hair shots, please.
