Ariana Grande quietly covered up her “Pete” tattoo after their reported split
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson reportedly ended their whirlwind relationship this weekend, and it seems as if Grande is adjusting to the breakup by covering up the tattoo she got in her ex-fiancé’s honor. Grande had the name “Pete” tattooed on her left ring finger in July 2018, but during her first public appearance since allegedly calling off the engagement, she was seen with a bandage over the ink.
Grande performed last night at the October 16th taping of NBC’s A Very Wicked Halloween, and in a video posted by her makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, you can see the bandage on her ring finger. It’s hard to see, but if you squint and have great eyesight, it’s there.
See it?
Here’s the “Pete” tattoo before she covered it up:
Grande and Davidson also got matching cloud tattoos on their middle fingers, and Grande did not appear to conceal hers last night. Although neither of the two have publicly confirmed the breakup, the singer seemed to allude to the split late on Tuesday night in a now-deleted Instagram post:
"ok today was v special and i'm so grateful i was able to be there," she wrote in an Instagram Story post. "Time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit. it's hard not to bump news n stuff that i'm not tryna to see rn. it's very sad and we're all tryin very hard to keep goin. love u. and thank u for bein here always."
According to TMZ, Grande and Davidson ended their relationship over the weekend of October 13th, though a source told People that they “still plan on spending time together” and have only decided to slow things down. Regardless of where this relationship lands, we’re sending all sorts of love and good vibes Grande’s way.
