Who are the friends in Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” video? We looked into it
Ariana Grande has been dropping hints about her latest single, “7 Rings,” for weeks now. And today, January 18th, Arianators can finally rejoice, because the video is officially here. Grande’s latest video features abundant diamonds, champagne, and six of her closest friends. Grande recently divulged on Twitter that she was inspired to write the song after she and some friends drank “too much champagne” and then got matching rings at Tiffany’s. Now, all seven friends appear together in the music video. Here’s everything we know about the ladies of “7 Rings”:
1 Tayla Parx

Billboard reports that Grande enlisted Tayla Parx (sometimes known as Taylor Parks) to appear in “7 Rings.” NPR recently named her one of the top artists to watch in 2019. She co-wrote “Thank U, Next” with Grande, and she also lent her talents to Panic! at the Disco’s “High Hopes” and four tracks on Janelle Monaé’s Dirty Computer. You might also recognize her as Little Inez from 2007’s Hairspray.
2 Victoria Monét
Victoria Monét also appears in “7 Rings,” according to Billboard. Monét is also a singer, and Rolling Stone notes that in 2016, Grande contributed vocals to Monét’s song “Better Days.” She also appeared in the “Thank U, Next” video, and along with Parx and Grande, performed the song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
3 Courtney Chipolone
According to Elle, Courtney Chipolone has been friends with Grande for years. The “God Is A Woman” singer has Chipolone’s first name tattooed on her knee. Chipolone also appeared in the “Thank U, Next” video.
4 Njomza
Grande told a fan on Twitter that Njomza was the first person to suggest a song based on the ring story. It’s only fitting, then, that she would appear alongside Grande in the music video.

Like Parx, Njomza has her own music career. According to Billboard, the 22-year-old was discovered by Grande’s ex, Mac Miller, and she went on to provide guest vocals for his 2016 album The Divine Feminine. Her latest single, “Lonely Nights,” dropped in November 2018.

5 Alexa Luria
Alexa Luria is yet another one of Grande’s friends who appeared in both “7 Rings” and “Thank U, Next.” The two have been close for years; in a birthday post to Grande in June 2017, Luria revealed that they first met in a P.E. class in 2001.
6 Kim “Kaydence” Krysiuk
Elle notes that Grande met Kaydence while she was working on beats in a studio. The two became fast friends, and Kaydence worked on Sweetener with Grande, writing the song “Better Off.”
Now excuse us while we watch the “7 Rings” video on repeat for the rest of the day.
