Arby’s just introduced the most epic pumpkin spice drink yet

Seems like everybody wants a piece of that pumpkin spice pie, including. . .Arby’s? You wouldn’t expect it, but the fast food chain has come up with their own twist on that seasonal favorite: the Pumpkin Cheesecake Shake.

You know what…I don’t hate it. According to their press release, the shake is “topped with whipped cream and features flavor notes of pumpkin spice, cheesecake and pie crust.”

Rob Lynch, the marketing director for the chain, explained their choice to go down the Pumpkin rabbit hole, saying, “We’re not afraid to go toe-to-toe with the myriad of pumpkin offerings already out there, because we know we have a product that sets us apart in a crowded space that guests are going to love.”

While they may be late to the Pumpkin train, they were the first when it comes to frozen coffee beverages. Years before Frappuccinos made their way onto the menu, Arby’s was serving the Jamocha Shake, a mix of chocolate and coffee blended into frozen goodness.

I’ve never drank a cheesecake before, I certainly wouldn’t be adverse to trying. It seems brands will do anything to appeal to our festive sides, like pumpkin spice gum, cookies, ice cream, and even almonds.

Until we can get pumpkin spice directly injected into our blood, we’ll have to settle for consuming as much of it as we can during the season. We have plenty of time, since Arby’s Pumpkin Cheesecake Shake will be sticking around until the end of the year. Plus, things are technically just getting started. It’s only October first. I can’t wait to see what other delicious creations are coming our way.
