Apparently red-haired men are having more sex now because of this one weird reason
Red-haired men of the world, if you’ve noticed an uptick in your sex life recently, you should probably send your thanks directly to Ed Sheeran. According to a new study, more ginger men are having sex due to the “Ed Sheeran effect,” and science truly is wild.
Sheeran is one of the most famous male gingers right now, and apparently being red-haired is a hot commodity these days, all thanks to Sheeran and other popular celebs embracing their natural red.
According to NME, research done by Casumo suggests that one in five red-haired men between the ages of 25 and 34 are receiving more “sexual attention” from women and are being teased less about their hair color because of the star (side note: can teasing people with red hair/teasing anyone about literally anything involving their appearance please stop forever?).
It seems the superstar singer and his red hair have made it super cool to be a redhead, and the ladies are loving themselves some Sheeran lookalikes.
Of the findings, a Casumo spokesperson had this to say: “It’s unsurprising that redheads are attracting more attention now than in previous years. Donning fiery red locks are popular among both male and female celebs with stars like Emma Stone and Isla Fisher leading the way for red-headed women. Ed Sheeran has shown how his appearance has no affect on his talent and more people are embracing their natural color.”
We’re all for anybody embracing their natural hair color, and if you were born lucky enough to have red locks, we say: rock on, redhead.
