Apparently Apple is hard at work on the iPhone 8, and here’s what you can expect
TBH, we remain basically obsessed with everything that Apple does. They just keep getting better! So when we learned that Apple is working on the iPhone 8, we had to know all of the details immediately. We’re still obsessed with the many changes that stepped up the iPhone 7, but the iPhone 8’s snazzy new features are even cooler. We can’t say we’re surprised, though, considering that 2017 is a big year for Apple: the 10th year of the iPhone!
So what can we expect from the iPhone 8?
The biggest expected change is that the iPhone 8 has a curved screen!
Business Insider says that the new iPhone 8’s curved screen is the result of OLED, a “newer kind of display that has deeper blacks and lower power consumption.” We’re so curious about how that’s going to work out, and what the learning curve will look like… er, no pun intended.
Plus, rumor has it that Apple’s eliminating the home button with the 2017 iPhone.
We just don’t know how to feel! But it’s just a rumor, after all, and there’s so much happening in the world of the iPhone. According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple is testing over 10 prototypes for the iPhone 8, which may be in our Apple-obsessed hands sooner than expected. The brand’s suppliers are working on increasing “output of thinner organic light-emitting displays and submit prototype screens with better resolution.” So, basically, nothing is set in stone quite yet!
We remain super freakin’ curious about how this new iPhone will stack up. With rumors abound and iPhone always keeping secrets close, we’re going to be keeping an ear to the ground to catch all the latest and most exciting details.
