Anna Kendrick’s lip sync battle is already epic

You’ve been watching Lip Sync Battle, RIGHT? It’s not every day that a late night talk show host gets a spin-off of one of his best segments, but that’s just Jimmy Fallon for you. Last week’s battle between Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway was pretty epic, and it’s going to be hard to top that, right? Well, if there’s one person who can pull it off, it’s Anna Kendrick.

Her battle airs tonight, and she faces off against John Krasinski (who also happens to be the husband of last week’s runner up, Blunt). Hopefully he brings his A-game, because Kendrick is here to WIN. We already know she’s got killer pipes, but how well can she lip synch? Judging from the early promos released for tonight’s episode, she’s going to nail it.

Each contestant gets to sing two songs, and Kendrick starts off with One Direction’s “Steal My Girl,” which subtly implies that Kendrick is trying to steal Krasinski’s girl (you gotta watch the video for the full effect). Then to really go for the gold, during Kendrick’s rendition of “Booty” she brings out a very special guest — J.Lo.

Is it even possible for Krasinski to compete with that??
