Yes, that’s Anna Kendrick in the new ‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ trailer

You never know where you’ll see Anna Kendrick. One day, she’ll be on Lip-Sync Battle, dancing to One Direction’s “Steal My Girl”; another, she’ll be on the streets of New York City with Billy Eichner. Now, in the latest installment of “spot Anna Kendrick being awesome,” she’s popping up in a live-action video game trailer. And it’s not just any video game trailer—it’s the Star Wars: Battlefront trailer. NBD.

The trailer for the game, which will be released on November 17th, is pretty rad. It centers around people from all over the globe being teleported to another world (much like The Leftovers, except a lot less scary). And then suddenly, you see Anna in her kitchen, making a late night sandwich, until she comes to a sudden realization.

“If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine,” she says slowly, holding up the knife she used to cut her sandwich in half like a lightsaber. . . before joining the game as a rebel soldier to get a real lightsaber. You know, casual. Knowing how much of a Star Wars fan she is — after all, she hasn’t exactly hidden that fact — we’re pretty sure she’s super pumped to be a part of the trailer.
