Anna Kendrick made her “Pitch Perfect” co-stars sound like her sisters, small annoyances included
The cast of Pitch Perfect really does live up to their movie’s name, because they are perfection. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Anna Kendrick described her relationship with her Pitch Perfect co-stars, and basically, they’re exactly like every BFF group. Of course, we already knew that the Bellas went on a Pitch Perfect vacay together in Mexico last May, so their friendship has been a well-known (and well Instagram-stalked) fact for a while.
But hearing Kendrick’s description of what it was like filming Pitch Perfect 3 with her BFFs takes our love for the Bellas to a new octave, and it also gives us a bit of aca-FOMO.
Here’s how Kendrick described her friendship with her co-stars:
"We spend every waking moment together: We’re shooting together constantly, we’re in the hair and makeup trailer together and when we’re not shooting, we’re in a green room together. It starts to feel like ‘Oh, my God if I see these girls for one more second…’ and then every weekend it’s just like, ‘What you guys up to?’"
That is such a friends-who-are-like-sisters relationship that we’re all too familiar with. We know that “get away from me now” feeling after we’ve spent SO much time with someone and need some space, but the next thing we know, we see a funny meme that we HAVE to show them and we’re right back together again. Yep, the Bellas are the ultimate sister squad, both onscreen and off.
On filming (aka, her JOB), Kendrick described it as being, “totally like summer camp.” We’re guessing she doesn’t mean it’s like being a counselor at a summer camp, either.
Kendrick, along with Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, and more of the Bellas, posted the cutest photos of their Mexico vacation together, and it’s just more proof that they love spending time together.
Being a Bella is definitely not a bad gig if it means endless giggles, and Pitch Perfect 3 also looks especially fun to have filmed. In the film, the singers hit the road to perform for the troops on a USO tour in Europe, and they take their show to new heights.
And from the looks of the trailer, there are even explosions in the upcoming installment of our fave film series.
Okay, maybe their job isn’t so easy.
Sadly, we have to wait until December to see the girls in action (literally), but because the cast of Pitch Perfect are all such good friends in real life, there will probably be plenty of Bella photos online to keep up with in the meantime, thank God.
