Anna Kendrick’s Cher Horowitz-inspired outfit is literally pitch perfect

With only ten days to go ’till Pitch Perfect 3 hits theaters, the film’s cast is doing the promotional circuit. Anna Kendrick is doing her part to promote Pitch Perfect 3 and while doing so, she scored all the fashion brownie points for rocking head-to-toe Cher Horowitz-vibes.

Kendrick graced the internet with her sartorial choices by posting a photo of herself at a press event wearing chunky ’90s lace-up boots, a plaid mini skirt, a lace crop top, and a snakeskin moto jacket. She captioned the image “Living my Cher Horowitz dreamzzz #PressDaze.”

This is how you do Clueless-inspired fashion without looking like a Halloween costume. Also, since Kendrick is promoting Pitch Perfect 3, it’s a fitting look seeing as both Clueless and Pitch Perfect are beloved female-centric popcorn movies.

The third installment of the popular musical franchise will feature the Bellas grappling with their new post-college lives as they team up one last time to perform together for an overseas USO tour. Also, this is the final film in the trilogy and it’s being billed as the Bella’s “farewell tour.” However, Hailee Steinfeld did hint that there could be a fourth film.

“Maybe,” Steinfeld told Build (via Seventeen) about the possibility of another sequel. “I don’t know anything for sure, but I don’t know it’s entirely over for the Bellas.”

First of all, this is great news for fans of the series. Second of all, Kendrick’s outfit!

So far none of the interviews that Kendrick is all dressed up for have hit the ‘net, but the cast did reunite on The Voice last month to sing a ’90s remixed version of their iconic song “Cups.”
