Anna Kendrick describes Ben Affleck as “normal sauce,” and it’s officially our new favorite expression

Maybe you know this already, but Anna Kendrick is pretty damn cool. Remember when she threw shade at Kanye? Okay, well now she’s telling it like it is about Ben Affleck.

They just worked together on the upcoming move The Accountant, and in an interview with People, Kendrick described Affleck using a very specific phrase that we’re going to start using immediately.

Of course, first came the usual compliments, i.e. what we would expect Affleck to be like. “He’s very smart and very funny and is definitely a practical actor.”

Makes sense, makes sense.

But then came the goods…

“He comes to work to get his job done and to make the best movie possible but is still really normal-sauce off-camera.”

And there it is. NORMAL SAUCE! 

Apart from the fact that we’re loving this expression and will now be using it constantly, it’s pretty awesome that Affleck seemingly hasn’t let fame go to his head. From how Kendrick describes him, he’s just a regular guy who comes to work and goes home, exactly like everybody else.

Awwww. This makes us love Ben Affleck even more.

Never stop being normal sauce, Ben! We appreciate you just the way you are.

P.S. We’ll soon get to see these two amazing actors in The Accountant, because it opens in October. Affleck plays a sexy genius forensic accountant…just FYI.
