Anna Faris revealed why her book release is making her feel “vulnerable”

Anna Faris recently wrote her first book, and that’s awesome! However, if you ask her, she’s feeling a bit vulnerable at the moment and that’s completely understandable. Unqualified is a collection of stories and advice about love, dating, sex and everything in between. Faris wrote the book while married to Chris Pratt and it includes a bunch of anecdotes about her marriage. However, Faris and Pratt announced their separation just months before her book release, which is unfortunate timing, but life does that sometimes.

Faris got real about the book during a visit to Late Night With Seth Meyers.

"I’ve been able to hide behind my characters for my career, which has been such a luxury, Faris revealed on Late Night With Seth Meyers. “Then I thought, 'maybe I have something to say,' you know, and I can tell people about how lonely I was growing up or how insecure I felt or jealous or whatever. I’m really proud of it.

We’ve already reported on several stories from the book, like her decision to get implants, how rumors about her marriage affected her mental health, and how she left her first husband for Pratt.

“I feel incredibly vulnerable. I feel really proud because it’s me, it’s an exposure of who I am,” the actress added. “I’ve been doing this acting work for awhile and I feel unbelievably vulnerable at this stage — but I feel proud and I hope that people can relate to it. Hopefully, there’s this collective idea that we all go through the same stuff.”
