We are madly in love with this animal rescue’s Star Wars-themed photo shoot

For those of you who think that the ONLY way the Star Wars franchise could be improved would be to add adorable household pets, your dream just came true.

In honor of May 4th (AKA “May the 4th be with you”), the Huffington Post reports that Eastern Ontario members of Capital City Garrison (an international Star Wars costuming organization) dressed up in their “Galaxy Far, Far Away” best, took a trip to the nearby Ottawa Humane Society to pose with shelter animals to promote animal adoption and, with hope, find homes for all these little Ewoks and mini-Chewbaccas.

The force is clearly strong within these Star Wars super-fans, check out the animal-loving awesomeness for yourself:
