Angelina Jolie’s six kids came with her to the premiere of her new movie, and aww

Who said a movie premiere can’t be a family affair? Not the Jolie-Pitt clan, that’s for sure. Because Angelina Jolie showed up in her traditional superstar style to promote her new film, and brought all six of her kids along for the fun.
Making a surprise appearance at the Telluride film festival in Colorado, Angelina Jolie had a very special entourage. While promoting her directorial venture First They Killed My Father, Jolie was escorted by her six supportive kids.
Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 9, were all smiles as they joined their mother to promote her film.
Beaming proudly alongside her children, Angelina Jolie cut a striking figure in a simple white gown with subtle detailing.
It’s a change from her usual fashion choices; normally, Jolie prefers dark tones when hitting the red carpet. The lighter look complemented the happy faces everyone put on as the actress-turned-director promoted the film, which she also co-wrote and produced.
First They Killed My Father is based on the memoirs of Loung Ung, a Cambodian human rights activist. The film shares her story of growing up under the horrific rule of the Khmer Rouge. The challenging and emotional story has a special meaning to Angelina Jolie, as her son Maddox was born in Cambodia. Maddox actually served as an executive producer on the film, while Pax worked as an on-set photographer.

The movie premieres on Netflix on September 15, and it’s clear the whole family is passionately proud of what they’ve created. Now that’s bringing family bonding to a whole new level.
