Andrew Garfield gave Emma Stone a supportive standing ovation during her Golden Globes win

Last night’s Golden Globes were a whirlwind of great style, powerful speeches, and meme-worthy celebrity antics. But one of our favorite moments was definitely when Emma Stone’s ex-boyfriend, Andrew Garfield, gave her a standing ovation as she walked onstage to receive the award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture for her role in La La Land.

Stonefield shippers have carefully followed Emma and Andrew’s relationship since it began in 2011 after the pair met while filming The Amazing Spider-Man. Their chemistry was obvious, and their sweet banter and mutual admiration had dreamers everywhere swooning. So when the two split in 2015, many hearts were broken.

But! Last night we got a little taste of the one-time love, and it was just as sweet as ever.

Can you spot Andrew back there on the left, standing up and cheering for his (former) gal? So lovely.

While we continue to be bummed about their breakup, both Andrew and Emma have been nothing but mature about the whole thing and say only the best things about each other.

In a December 2016 interview, for instance, Andrew was asked who he’d take to a desert island if he could only bring one person. “Emma Stone,” he said. “I love Emma. She’s all right. She can come.”

*Pause for swooning*

And earlier that year, when Emma was asked by Vogue about the breakup, she described Andrew as “someone I still love very much.”

*Cue tears*

Plus, when Emma was shown a video of Andrew and Ryan Reynolds kissing at the Globes after Ryan Gosling won his award for La La Land (YES, that happened and was amazing), she had an adorable reaction.
