Andrew Garfield gave Stephen Colbert a big kiss on the mouth, since that’s just what Andrew Garfield does these days
One of the most talked-about moments of the Golden Globes was definitely the big romantic kiss between Andrew Garfield and Ryan Reynolds, which took place while Ryan Gosling accepted his award for La La Land. Not only was it unexpected, but it was pretty comical — especially to Blake Lively and Garfield’s famous ex, Emma Stone.
So, of course it’d be the topic of conversation a few days later, when Garfield hit the set of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
The appearance started out affectionate — as it turns out, Garfield is a huge fan of Colbert.
"I have enormous affection for you right for some reason too," Colbert responded.
After showcasing the kiss in question, in which Garfield stated that he “just wanted Ryan [Reynolds] to know that I loved him no matter whether he won or lost,” he mentioned that he was definitely comfortable with kissing other men.
And so is Colbert. Watch and see for yourself — it all starts around the 2-minute mark.

Well. Wow.
We love how naturally (and how quick) that all happened. Looks like things escalate pretty quickly on the set of The Late Show.
Even better, the first kiss was so good, that they went in for a second round.
"You're a very gentle lover, I'll start with that," Colbert mentioned.
Then, the two talk about Garfield’s work in Hacksaw Ridge. Once you get your composure back in check, it’s definitely worth a listen.
While it’s still unclear as to whether or not the Golden Globes kiss was premeditated, or done on the fly, it’s sweet that Garfield’s intentions were so pure. We love the fact that he can easily connect with other celebrities — who knows? Maybe someone out there noted his chemistry with Ryan Reynolds, and has the two in mind for a big upcoming film.
