Andrew Garfield is as excited about the new Spider-Man as the rest of us
Andrew Garfield did a spectacular job as Spider-Man. The talented actor stole our hearts (and had us LOLing like crazy) in both The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And he’s totally supportive of the new Peter Parker.
While talking to ET Online, Andrew Garfield praised the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Not only did he say he was excited to see the movie, but he also said he’s a fan of Tom Holland (aka the new Spider-Man). Hearing the amount of happy support and approval he gives to the new wave of superheroes is seriously heartwarming.
Garfield was quick to make sure it known he totally approves of the upcoming casting choice.
He told ET Online, "Tom Holland is a really, really great actor."
He then went on to praise some of the other work Holland has done, adding fuel to the excitement of seeing him embody the role onscreen.
Holland has been excitedly posting all sorts of behind-the-scenes and teaser pictures that make us have the utmost confidence he’ll be a Spider-Man who truly stands out from the rest.
Meanwhile, Garfield’s schedule has been plenty packed thanks to the success of his latest movie, Hacksaw Ridge. But, he’s definitely going to make time to see the new movie.
Garfield added, "I'm just really excited to be a fan again as opposed to bearing the weight of it."
It’s so awesome to hear that Garfield is a big fan of Holland and the new franchise.
If the massive success of the trailer is any indication, this new Spider-Man reboot is going to be mind-blowing. We can’t wait until July 7, 2017 to experience it for ourselves.
