Amy Schumer showed us how she dealt with chafing right before the Met Gala
We’re still dreaming about last night’s Met Gala outfits. The fabrics! The patterns! The lines! They were all so totally on point, and (mostly) fit the Manus x Machina theme perfectly. Taylor Swift wore a silver reptile-print dress. Kristen Stewart was a metallic vision. Claire Danes was a walking light-up Cinderella. And Lena Dunham wore a tuxedo, because why not?
One of our favorite looks of the night came from Amy Schumer, who stunned in an off-the-shoulder number by Alexander Wang. She was a vision in red from head to toe—even her shoes, bag and nails were red.
But apart from the glitz and glamor, there’s a side to the Met Gala that we don’t all see. Let’s just say that after all that posing under the hot flash bulbs, things can get a little uncomfortable. Of course, that doesn’t phase Amy. She let us in on a little trick for how she manages.
Behold: A video of Amy applying deodorant to her thighs, under her red gown. “It’s called ‘I don’t want to chafe,’” the comedian says in the video. Yup, even on fashion’s most glamorous night, Amy is still a real person just like us.
