Amy Schumer posts nude pic on Insta with a beautiful message

Amy Schumer is the queen of being candid, and that candidness also applies to her body. While the comedian has always been open about everything from her weight to her sex life, she’s never been one for revealing photographs unless, of course, Annie Leibovitz is behind the camera and the photo promotes body acceptance.

That’s exactly the case with the star’s most recent Instagram, which is a beautiful, unedited photo of the star almost entirely nude, wearing heels and drinking a cup of coffee like the badass New Yorker she is.

Already, the photo is making waves in the best way possible. Here are a few comments showing just how important this kind of body acceptance is:

Clearly, we need more of this open and unabashed body acceptance in the mainstream media, but thankfully we have someone like Amy with us now to get the ball rolling.

Schumer isn’t the only celeb to bare it all —the shot is actually part of Pirelli’s 2016 calendar, and Annie Leibovitz is the photographer behind the project. Other models for the calendar, according to Vulture, include: “Serena Williams, Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Tavi Gevinson, Fran Lebowitz, Natalia Vodianova, Kathleen Kennedy, Yao Chen, Mellody Hobson, Ava DuVernay, Agnes Gund, and Shirin Neshat.”

In the Pirelli promo video, Schumer says, “I felt I looked more beautiful than I’ve ever felt in my life, and I felt like it looked like me.”
