We always love to see exes remain friends, and Amy Schumer’s latest Instagram post thanking ex-boyfriend Ben Hanisch is a great example of how to do a breakup right.
The couple broke up in May after a year and a half of dating, and released a statement that said, “Amy and Ben have ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and remain friends.” It seems they meant it, based on Amy’s latest Insta post thanking Ben for…patio furniture?
The gesture is even sweeter (and perhaps a little less random) when we remember that Hanisch is a furniture maker and designer, and so we can assume he designed the set especially for Amy.
Amy posted a photo of herself rocking a Big Mac onesie with her hair in a top knot and her sunglasses on, hanging out with her adorable pup, Tatiana Maslany (yes, named after Amy’s pal, the real Tatiana Maslany). She showed off the new furniture set while thanking Ben for the swing table, which is honestly one of the coolest things we’ve ever seen.
Furniture envy aside, we’re happy to see that these two really are still pals, and we can’t wait to see more shots of Amy enjoying her super cool swing set. Invite us over for a barbecue, girl. We’ll bring the wine! Oh, also, where can we get that burger onesie? Because that’s also now something we need alongside cool in-home swing sets.
