Amy Schumer wished her trolls the most hilarious “Happy New Year”

You don’t mess with Amy Schumer, guys.

Although 2015 was undoubtedly a hell of a year for the comedian/actress/goddess, Amy has been dealing with quite a few trolls who make cruel and sexist comments about her weight and comedy. . . but it hasn’t just been the average dude commenting angrily while in his basement. Take movie critic Jeff Wells, who wrote that “there’s no way she’d be an object of heated romantic interest in the real world. . . . Schumer’s wide facial features reminded me of a blonde Lou Costello around the time of Buck Privates, or Jennifer Aniston‘s somewhat heavier, not-as-lucky sister who watches a lot of TV.”

Well, Amy has something to say to all of her haters, and she used New Year’s to throw them all shade in an epically brilliant way.

“Happy New Years to [I]nternet trolls,” she tweeted. “I hope you find happiness this year. Nourishing relationships and a life you can be proud of.”

And then we can only assume she dropped the mic, because that tweet is pure gold. Of course, this wasn’t the only time Amy’s delivered generous helpings of truth — like the time she gave a brilliant (and NSFW) speech about feminism and self-love when accepting her Glamour Women Of The Year award back in June.

“No, I’m not gonna apologize for who I am,” Amy said during the speech. “I’m gonna actually love the skin that I’m in and not be, like, striving for some other version of myself.”

Thanks, Amy, for keeping it real, always. And to the trolls out there: We really do hope you manage to live a little bit better in 2016.
