You can book a seat on the most picturesque fall train ride for only $58

It’s a brisk September afternoon. The leaves are finally changing and you’re cozy in your seat, windows surrounding you. You stare longingly in front of you, as the leaves pass by, faster and faster, changing from red to orange to a delicious in-between hue. There’s magic in the air and you have the perfect view to take it in. Say hello to Amtrak’s Great Dome Car and the scenic Adirondack view you’ll be able to see from it.

The Adirondack train ride starts at Penn Station in New York City and ends in Montreal, Canada, transporting you through a fall fantasy. Oh, and the best part? Prices for a one-way ticket start at $58.

The 10-hour train ride takes you through the Adirondack Mountains when leaves are in peak season, so your amazing view is pretty much guaranteed.

Plus, since this route uses the Great Dome Car — a two-story train car with windows along the wall and ceiling — you’ll really be getting the best views around.

If this trip is calling your name, then you’ll want to hurry up and buy your tickets. The Dome Car isn’t a permanent fixture, and is only available for a handful of weeks. According to Amtrak, this year, the Dome Car is available “September 29th – October 31st, 2016, on Thursday, Saturday, and Monday (Train 69). Or traveling southbound September 30th – November 1st, 2016, on Friday, Sunday, and Tuesday (Train 68).” But since the Dome Car isn’t attached to the train until the Albany-Rensselaer Rail Station, and you can’t reserve seats for it, it’s available on a first come, first serve basis.

Since the Northeast has some of the best fall foliage in the whole country, we’re already mentally preparing for the beauty we’d get to see on this train ride.

So hurry up and book your tickets! This is a ride you won’t want to miss.
