The amount this “Twilight” fan spent on Bella’s engagement ring will shock you

There are fans, and then there are fans. The Twilight series has always been famous for producing the latter, and the recent auction of props from the set of Twilight movies showed just how far they’re willing to go to prove their loyalty to Bella and Edward (or Bella and Jacob, depending on which camp they’re in). All sorts of things were for sale, but it was Bella’s engagement ring that caught the eye of Twilight lovers everywhere.

Although we don’t know who the lucky buyer was, we do know that Bella’s ring sold for a whopping $16,800. Talk about devoted fandom.

We like to think the lucky ring owner is someone who’s about to propose or be proposed to, but perhaps we’ll never know. Bella’s ring wasn’t the only thing that got sold for an exuberant amount of cash. Remember that graduation cap collage that was displayed in the Cullen house? Well, someone paid over $10,000 for that. Also, Edward’s chess set someone back $13,200.

We don’t know what kind of memorabilia from the werewolf camp was sold, but we can’t imagine there was all that much to auction off anyway, considering our furry friends were mostly shirtless, running around in the woods. (Not that we’re complaining.) They didn’t exactly spend much time milling around their houses.

What we really want to know, though, is whether someone gave up their life savings for Bella’s wedding dress. Don’t worry, you’ll be the first to know if we find anything out.
