We learn the identity of the one survivor on “American Horror Story: Roanoke” and we are SHOCKED
With only one episode left of the season, we finally learned the identity of the survivor on American Horror Story: Roanoke, and oh wow.
Raise your hand if you saw this coming. Was this even a twist? Should we have guessed the identity of the soul survivor long ago? Probably. So many spoilers ahead.
At the top of the hour, Audrey, Monet, Lee — and what the heck, let’s throw in Pig Man Dylan, too — were all still alive. Then, Dylan is killed. Then, it looked like Lee is going to be killed but NOT SO FAST, she’s saved at the last second by Scáthach, and Scáthach feeds her a pig’s heart, and now we’re dealing with PossessedLee. Cool.
What doesPossessedLee do? You know, possessed stuff, like return to the house and kill Monet. PossessedLee then chases Audrey out of the house, slashes her with a butcher knife, and locks her in the outside cellar. What the what. PossessedLee then burns newcomers Sophie and Milo at the stake and WHAT THE WHAT?
The next morning, the police finally decide that they should check out Roanoke, and Lee unconscious outside the Roanoke House. She wakes up, confused and freaked out (like Matt after a rendezvous Scáthach) and is brought over to the cop car to head to the hospital.
So there we have it! Lee is our soul survivor—
BUT NOT SO FAST. Audrey is actually still alive, and she is freaked out and pissed off. As she’s being brought over to one of the cop cars, she spots Lee, and knows that PossessedLee attacked her the night before (and, also, Audrey watched the tape of Lee confessing to the murder of Mason), and Audrey is o-v-e-r-t-h-i-s.
Audrey, not making the best decision, manages to grab the cop’s gun and starts shooting at Lee. That’s when the cops start shooting at Audrey, and she is, sadly, killed.
