According to Ryan Murphy, this is the *exact* date for when “American Horror Story” Season 7 will make sense
Is it better to know nothing or everything before a season of American Horror Story starts? That’s the conundrum we’re in right now. Unlike last year — where we learned the theme and setting of the show only when it premiered — Mr. Ryan Murphy has decided to sprinkle breadcrumb-like clues for us to follow when it comes to Season 7. He’s revealed everything and literally nothing at the same time.
Sure, we know the gist of Season 7: It will be based on the events following the 2016 presidential election. And Evan Peters has blue hair! Murphy has also teased some new faces and characters, but that’s still, like, nothing.
But it sure looks like he has a plan. (I hope!) Tweeting late Monday night, Murphy claims that he’s going to drop the official Season 7 title and “everything will make sense.” Sure Ryan, sure. He’s also given an exact date for this: July 20th. (And that also happens to be the first day of San Diego Comic-Con 2017, and this isn’t already stressing me out or anything.) false
This is good news for everyone, and bad news for me because I was really having fun calling it American Horror Story: Election Edition, Subtitle: Evan Peters Has Blue Hair!! Come on, what else do you even need to know about the season? You’re going to tune in anyway.
Murphy also teases that the opening title sequence will be back, after being VERY MUCH ABSENT for Season 6. false
While there are a lot of things to love about AHS, the opening title sequence is one of the best things. It also usually gives us a few clues here and there, too. Like for Murder House we could actually see the weapons used in the house scattered throughout the basement, and for Hotel the 10 Commandments were lit up in neon lights for the 10 Commandments Killer. It’s anyone’s guess as to what the title sequence of Season 7 will hold. Mostly because we can’t even make an educated guess — at least not until July 20th.
Whatever does (or doesn’t) happen during Season 7, go ahead and mark your calendars. Only nine more days until AHS makes sense.
